Marcela Aipoh, child actor of Nollywood was recently crowned the Best Child Actor of Year 2025.
Aipoh who started her acting career at the tender age of 3, has made name for herself in both the Nollywood screen, musical videos and the modelling world.
Having graced the silver screen in renowned films like “She Must Be Obeyed” alongside Funke Akindele, The Return of Domitila, High School Magic, The daughter from the Future, Night Walker, In love with a single mother, Africa Magic 10th Avenue Series, Africa Magic ITURA series and Africa Magic The Yard Series, Aipoh had acted in over sixty movies (60) Movies, and has also featured in skit with Mr. Makaroni, Lasisi Elenu alongside BrainJotter, Oga Amos Code Breaker Series and many more.
Her Manager, Godwin Nwachukwu, speaking with journalists in Lagos, explained that Aipoh had delivered a standout performance in Sambala – Sambala is a film that explored family, loyalty, and the challenges of growing up.
Nwachukwu stated that Aipoh’s portrayal of her character was both heartfelt and commanding, making it impossible to take ones’ eyes off the screen.
