The Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the Labour Party, Adedayo Ekong says she remains in charge of the Party in the state, dismissing the report that she has been suspended from office, at the press conference I Lagos.
Ekong described the report of her purported expulsion as malicious. She that those behind it relegates of the party who were either suspended or expelled for misconduct and acted in contempt of court ruling.
In her words, “The content of that report was false malicious and calculated attempt to mislead the public. I Pastor Dr Dayo Ekong remains the only legally recognized chairman of the Labour Party in Lagos State. The individuals making this false claim are imposters funded by the ruling party to disrupt oppositions.”.
